The North Pitt Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their seventh straight loss. They suffered a tough 82-59 loss at the hands of J.H. Rose. North Pitt has struggled against J.H. Rose recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Loss or not, North Pitt got some senior leadership from Jamarcus Pippens and Keymauri Brooks. Pippens scored 13 points along with two steals, while Brooks. scored 16 points. Brooks hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Zahmerrion Exum was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.

North Pitt has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season. As for J.H. Rose, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Pitt will take on Greene Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Greene Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully North Pitt likes a good challenge. As for J.H. Rose, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jacksonville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Jacksonville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Tuesday.
