Arthur-Okaw Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They really took it to the Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Storm for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-20 win. The Conquering Riders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arthur-Okaw Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avery Herschberger, who posted 11 points along with six boards and six steals. What's more, Herschberger also racked up five assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brileigh Mast, who went 6-for-8 on her way to 16 points and five assists.

Arthur-Okaw Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.7 points over those games.
