Soccer Recap: Burke Mountain Academy Falls to Winooski in First Game of Season

Burke Mountain Academy kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Winooski Spartans by a score of 1-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Burke Mountain Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Burke Mountain Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winooski, they have already played their next match, a 7-0 win against Sharon Academy on the 5th.
