Volleyball Recap: Dewey Triumphs

Dewey hadn't done well against Sequoyah recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bulldoggers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles.

Dewey now has a winning record of 1-0-2. As for Sequoyah, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dewey will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Summit Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Sequoyah, they will face off against Locust Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
