Softball Game Preview: A.C. Flora Falcons vs. Dreher Blue Devils

For the second straight game, A.C. Flora will face off against Dreher. The Falcons will face off against the Blue Devils at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. A.C. Flora's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so Dreher's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

A.C. Flora's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Dreher 13-0. Considering the Falcons have won 12 contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Dreher's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kari Denard, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Denard has hit this season.

A.C. Flora pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Dreher, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
