Flushing entered their tilt with Kearsley on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 51-50 win over the Kearsley Hornets. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Hornets back in December of 2024, they had to take a 71-58 defeat.

Flushing is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Kearsley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Flushing and Kearsley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Flushing (ranked 267th) will meet Corunna (ranked 627th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kearsley will face off against Owosso at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 407 places (139 vs. 546).
