Hanson is 9-1 against Viborg/Hurley since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Beavers will welcome the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Viborg/Hurley came up short against Irene/Wakonda on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Cougars have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

While Viborg/Hurley ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 20-25, 25-19.

Viborg/Hurley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Hanson, their loss dropped their record down to 11-17.

Hanson took their victory against Viborg/Hurley in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Beavers repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
