Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Box Elder). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 70-67 victory over the Northridge Knights on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bees as it put an end to their 14-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Box Elder's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mayson Jeppsen led the charge by putting up 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Jeppsen has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ryan Jenson, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.
