It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Calhoun had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the North Clayton Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Yellow Jackets sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Calhoun took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-4, 25-6.

Chloe Edens was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 12 aces and six digs. Those 12 aces gave her a new career-high.

Edens wasn't the only good servers: Calhoun was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matchups.

Calhoun's record is now 33-9. As for North Clayton, they dropped their record down to 5-17 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Calhoun has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Dawson County on the 18th. North Clayton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
