Volleyball Recap: Banning Comes Up Short on the Road Against Mary Star of the Sea

Banning kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Mary Star of the Sea Stars, falling 3-0. The Pilots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-10.

Mary Star of the Sea's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banning will head out to square off against Legacy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mary Star of the Sea, they will venture away from home to take on San Pedro at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
