Soccer Recap: Apalachee Takes a Loss

Apalachee's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Clarke Central Gladiators by a score of 1-0. Apalachee haven't had much luck with Clarke Central recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Apalachee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Clarke Central, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Coming up, Apalachee will take on Morgan County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Morgan County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Apalachee surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clarke Central, they will challenge Alcovy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Clarke Central's defense better be ready for this one: Alcovy has averaged an impressive 2.9 goals per game this season.
