Baseball Game Preview: Archbishop Hoban Knights vs. Steele Comets

The Archbishop Hoban Knights will head out to face off against the Steele Comets at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Archbishop Hoban's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Steele's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

If Archbishop Hoban beats Steele with eight runs on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Knights' pitchers stepped up to hand Louisville an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Steele didn't have quite enough to beat Padua Franciscan on Saturday and fell 3-2. The game marked the Comets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Archbishop Hoban's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Steele, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.
