Basketball Game Preview: Eagle Pass Eagles vs. Lytle Pirates

The Eagle Pass Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Lytle Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eagle Pass is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Eagle Pass is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since December 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Poth, falling 67-43.

Meanwhile, Lytle was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 39-38 to Randolph.

Eagle Pass' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lytle, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Eagle Pass took their victory against Lytle in their previous matchup back in November of 2017 by a conclusive 54-33 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
