Football Recap: Conway Christian Comes Up Short

Conway Christian managed to slip by Mount Ida the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles were beaten by the Lions 42-6 on Friday. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Conway Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Mount Ida, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Conway Christian will challenge Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mount Ida, they will take on Magazine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
