Newcastle had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They never let the Douglass Trojans get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Racers have won 15 games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
