Volleyball Game Preview: Northwood Academy Chargers vs. Charleston Collegiate Sundevils

The Northwood Academy Chargers will challenge the Charleston Collegiate Sundevils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Monday, Northwood Academy didn't have quite enough to beat John Paul II and fell 3-2.

Northwood Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (102-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 14-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-9.

The losing side was boosted by Connolly Summer, who had ten digs and three aces.

Charleston Collegiate kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to Academic Magnet.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-16.
