Alleman entered their tilt with Fulton on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Steamers get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. This was payback for the Pioneers, who suffered a 5-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

CJ Carruthers tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Cael Kuster was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Will Bowers was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Alleman hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive matchups.

Alleman pushed their record up to 22-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Fulton, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.

Alleman didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-2 loss against Quincy on the 12th. As for Fulton, they will be playing at home against Rock Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Steamers are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
