Fairhope never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Mary G. Montgomery Vikings as Fairhope made off with an 8-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won six in a row.

Harrison Cook looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).
