Mountain Vista won the last time they faced Ponderosa and things went their way on Saturday too. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs.

Mountain Vista found their leader in sophomore Atreyu (Trey) Armstrong, who had 11 digs and three assists.

Mountain Vista has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Ponderosa, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Mountain Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Cheyenne Mountain on the 12th. As for Ponderosa, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Pueblo South on the 12th.
