New Trier hadn't done well against Glenbrook South recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Trevians blew past the Titans 11-1. Winning may never get old, but the Trevians sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

New Trier pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Glenbrook South, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Trier will host Hoffman Estates at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Glenbrook South, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Palatine at 10:00 a.m.
