Meanwhile, Freer fell victim to La Villa and their airtight pitching crew on March 11th. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 9-0. The Buckaroos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

La Villa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. Freer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything went La Villa's way against Freer in their previous meeting on March 11th, as La Villa made off with a 9-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for La Villa since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
