Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Piles Up the Points Against Randleman + How To Watch

Oak Grove strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They really took it to the Randleman Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-27 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-18.

Oak Grove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Victoria Lockamy led the charge by shooting 46% from the field en route to 19 points along with six steals and five assists. With that strong performance, Lockamy is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Emma Hadley, who posted nine points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists.

Oak Grove's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Randleman, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Oak Grove won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southern Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Randleman, they will square off against T.W. Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on the 12th. The contest will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
