Preview: Bethune-Bowman vs. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler
Hunter-Kinard-Tyler have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Bethune-Bowman at 6:30 PM. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
It was all tied up at halftime, but Hunter-Kinard-Tyler wasn't quite Eau Claire's equal in the second half when they met two weeks ago. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler took a 0-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eau Claire.
Meanwhile, everything went Bethune-Bowman's way against North last week as the team secured a 42-0 win. Bethune-Bowman was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Bethune-Bowman's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Bethune-Bowman's success rolls on or if Hunter-Kinard-Tyler are able to steal their positive momentum.
