North DeSoto had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Breaux Bridge Tigers get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Griffins, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

North DeSoto is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Breaux Bridge, they moved to 21-12-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
