Basketball Recap: Bingham Takes Down Corner Canyon in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bingham had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Corner Canyon Chargers 60-40. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 58-48 victory last Thursday.

It was another big night for Addy Horsley, who went 8-for-10 on her way to 24 points and five assists. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024. Brielle Blanchard was another key player, putting up seven points.

The win made it two in a row for Bingham and bumps their season record up to 17-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Corner Canyon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season.

Bingham will take on Fremont at 9:10 p.m. on Monday. Bingham has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Corner Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
