Softball Recap: Antioch Takes Down Cary-Grove in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Antioch had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Cary-Grove Trojans by a score of 6-3 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Sequoits as they're now sitting on four straight.

Antioch pushed their record up to 22-13 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Cary-Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season.
