Football Game Recap: Phillips Exeter Academy vs. Suffield Academy

Everything went Suffield Academy's way against Phillips Exeter Academy on Saturday as they made off with a 41-14 win. Suffield Academy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The Suffield Academy offense pulled no punches in the first half and blazed their way to 34 points. Meanwhile, Phillips Exeter Academy couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 34-0 heading into the break. Suffield Academy were outscored in the second half, but Phillips Exeter Academy's efforts were ultimately no more than a drop in the ocean.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Suffield Academy will stay at home next week against Phillips Academy at 2:30 PM. Unlike Suffield Academy, Phillips Academy will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Phillips Exeter Academy, they will face off against Deerfield Academy. Phillips Exeter Academy stagger into the game hobbled by five consecutive losses while Deerfield Academy skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins.
