Soccer Game Preview: Pieper vs. Boerne

The Pieper Warriors will challenge the Boerne Greyhounds at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pieper's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Boerne's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Pieper barely beat Alamo Heights the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Pieper never let Alamo Heights get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 11 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Boerne had just enough and edged out Alamo Heights 1-0 on Tuesday.

Pieper is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those seven contests. Boerne's win bumped their record up to 14-6-1.
