There's no place like home for Herscher, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They skirted past the Streator Bulldogs 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted against the Bulldogs since September 20, 2022.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Herscher got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 26-28, 25-21.

Herscher moved to 6-19 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Streator, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-10-1.

Herscher has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Tri-Valley on the 10th. As for Streator, they will take on Wilmington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
