Carver piles up the points against Thomasville

Recap: Carver Tigers vs. Thomasville Bulldogs

The Carver Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by Thomasville at home to the tune of 98-37. Carver has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Jazmin Thornton, who scored 29 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Kayden Cooper was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

The victory (which was Carver's third in a row) raised their record to 11-5. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.33 points. As for Thomasville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Carver will face off against Galloway at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Galloway knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Carver likes a good challenge. As for Thomasville, they will head out on the road to challenge Brooks County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brooks County is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
