Calvert put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They didn't even let the Lakota Raiders on the board, marking the Senecas' second-straight 13-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 on Wednesday.

AJ Shoemaker and Charlie Palm did most of the damage at the plate: Shoemaker went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Palm went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave Palm a new career-high. Connor Moyer also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Calvert's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Lakota, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Calvert will face off against rival Hopewell-Loudon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Senecas 2.5, the Chieftains 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Lakota is set to challenge their familiar foe New Riegel at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
