Texas Wind waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against Gholson as they made off with a 15-2 win. Texas Wind might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 11 runs or more this season.

Texas Wind got a massive performance out of Madelyne Morgan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave Morgan a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mylie Mcdougal, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Texas Wind always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .917. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Texas Wind pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Gholson, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Texas Wind will welcome Stephenville FAITH at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something Texas Wind will no doubt try to take advantage of. Gholson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
