Downtown Magnets came tearing into Thursday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.4 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Central City Value Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-1 back in December of 2024.

Downtown Magnets' offense was hitting Central City Value from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Jake Perez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Downtown Magnets pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five contests. As for Central City Value, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Downtown Magnets wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Orthopaedic on the 22nd. Central City Value does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
