Volleyball Recap: El Dorado Springs Bulldogs vs. Buffalo Bison
El Dorado Springs was the 2-1 winner over Buffalo when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Bison by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
El Dorado Springs took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-19, 19-25, 21-25, 25-17, 15-9.
Kalen Post paced El Dorado Springs' offense, picking up 22 kills. Post got some help from Maddix Robison and her 29 assists. Post also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Tatum Quinlan, racking up three apiece.
El Dorado Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-2. As for Buffalo, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1-2.
Coming up, El Dorado Springs is taking a road trip to face off against Mt. Vernon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buffalo, they will be playing at home against Logan-Rogersville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
