Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Desert Hot Springs). They took down the Banning Broncos 38-20 on Monday. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Nyna Crawford-Holiness was nothing short of spectacular: she threw for 379 yards and four touchdowns while completing 74.3% of her passes, and also rushed for 71 yards. Those 71 rushing yards gave her a new career-high. Chelsea Aza was another key player, gaining 148 total yards and a touchdown.

Desert Hot Springs' win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Banning, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Coincidentally, Desert Hot Springs and Banning will both be playing Rancho Mirage the next time they take the field. The Golden Eagles will head out to face the Rattlers at 5:00 p.m. on the 8th, while the Broncos will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th.
