They really took it to the Humble Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 34-6 win. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Wildcats are ranked 262nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Shore to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaleb Maryland, who threw for 239 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 35 yards and one score. Hezekiah Johnson was another key back, gaining 111 total yards and a touchdown.

North Shore's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Humble, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
