Roaring Fork has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Gunnison, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cowboys beat Roaring Fork by a score of 12-6 later that day.
