Red Mesa won the last time they faced Rough Rock and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Mesa Redskins put the hurt on the Rough Rock Sun Devils with a sharp 71-49 victory. The Redskins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Red Mesa got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacoby Begaye out in front who posted 19 points and five steals. Those 19 points gave Begaye a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jovun Paul, who went 5 of 12 en route to 14 points along with six steals and five assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Red Mesa and bumps their season record up to 8-9. As for Rough Rock, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Red Mesa will venture away from home to take on St. Michael at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Mesa has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Rough Rock, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-42 defeat against Whitehorse on the 15th.
