Soccer Recap: Citrus Gets the Win

Citrus won the last time they faced Hernando and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Citrus Hurricanes had just enough and edged the Hernando Leopards out 2-1.

Taylor Hamm and Leah Smallridge scored both of Citrus' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Citrus' victory bumped their record up to 7-8-1. As for Hernando, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9-1 record this season.

Citrus has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Nature Coast Tech on the 10th. As for Hernando, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic on the 10th.
