Basketball Game Preview: Walter Panas Panthers vs. Haldane Blue Devils

The Walter Panas Panthers will face off against the Haldane Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Walter Panas has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 6.

On Tuesday, Walter Panas took a blow against Greeley, falling 66-31. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 854th, while the Quakers are ranked 201st).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Haldane, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Sunday. They walked away with a 60-51 victory over Hamilton on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Blue Devils considering their 27-point performance the matchup before.

Haldane's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Walter Panas, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
