Pleasant extends road winning streak to five

Recap: Pleasant Spartans vs. Clear Fork Colts

After losing to the Clear Fork Colts the last time they met, the Pleasant Spartans decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Pleasant snuck past the Colts with a 58-54 victory on Friday.

Pleasant got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lathan McCants out in front who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McCants has scored all season. Another player making a difference was JT Snively, who scored 13 points along with two steals.

Pleasant pushed their record up to 8-8 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Clear Fork, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Pleasant will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. As for Clear Fork, they will head out on the road to challenge the Presidents at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Marion Harding presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Colts in Ohio (the Presidents are ranked 102nd, while the Colts are ranked 430th).
