Daisy Regalado spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, Madeline Powers was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Allyanah Cano, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Orange Cove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Granite Hills only posted an OBP of .259.
Lindsay's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Orange Cove, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
Orange Cove's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Lindsay has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .530. It's a different story for Orange Cove, though, as they've only averaged .354. Will they be able to contain Lindsay's hitters?
