Volleyball Recap: Ponderosa Comes Up Short

Ponderosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Davis Sr. Blue Devils.

Davis Sr. can attribute much of their success to Mohammad Reggad, who had 22 assists. Reggad has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more assists the last four times he's played. Devin Davis also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Ponderosa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Davis Sr., the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-7.

Ponderosa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Roseville on the 22nd. As for Davis Sr., they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Oakmont on the 22nd.
