Volleyball Recap: St. Bede Victorious + How To Watch

St. Bede won the last time they faced Parkview Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bruins had just enough and edged out the Falcons 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was St. Bede who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 22-25, 26-24.

Parkview Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lilah Carlyle, who had nine digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Brenna Esposito, who had 18 assists and six digs.

St. Bede's victory bumped their record up to 15-9-1. As for Parkview Christian Academy, they moved to 15-15 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

St. Bede has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Seneca on the 9th. As for Parkview Christian Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Sandwich will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
