Volleyball Game Preview: West Ranch Wildcats vs. Golden Valley Grizzlies + How To Watch

West Ranch has gone a perfect 10-0 against Golden Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats will face off against the Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Ranch has eight straight wins, Golden Valley has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

West Ranch won the last time they faced Castaic and Dani Clewis did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Coyotes on Tuesday with plenty of help from Clewis, who had eight kills, eight digs, two aces, and one block. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 34 games she's played dating back to last season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-18.

West Ranch got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carsyn Miller out in front who had 11 digs and one assist. Those 11 digs gave Miller a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Golden Valley lost 3-0 to Saugus on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-6, 25-13.

West Ranch's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Golden Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19-2.

Everything went West Ranch's way against Golden Valley in their previous meeting back in September, as West Ranch made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
