Baseball Recap: Metropolitan Takes a Loss

Metropolitan lost against Bowne on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Metropolitan took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bowne. Metropolitan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Metropolitan's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Bowne, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Metropolitan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bowne, they will challenge Taft at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
