Mid-Carolina is a perfect 7-0 against Fairfield Central since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rebels will square off against the Griffins at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Mid-Carolina is headed into Tuesday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They lost 4-1 to Columbia last Friday. Mid-Carolina were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Ryker Woolstenhulme, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, Fairfield Central was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against Clinton, falling 4-0.

Fairfield Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Mid-Carolina, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Everything went Mid-Carolina's way against Fairfield Central in their previous meeting back in April of 2022, as Mid-Carolina made off with a 17-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
