Soccer Game Preview: Arvada West vs. Denver North

The Arvada West Wildcats will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Denver North Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Arvada West will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Friday, then bounced right back against Centaurus on Tuesday. Arvada West blew past Centaurus 5-1. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

Arvada West hit Centaurus with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aubry Grieve (2), Gigi Grieve (2), and Janae Marquez.

Meanwhile, Denver North earned a 3-1 victory over D'Evelyn on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

The win got Arvada West back to even at 1-1. As for Denver North, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
