Soccer Game Preview: Oneida vs. Eagleton College & Career Academy

The Oneida Indians will head out to face off against the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Oneida has given up an average of 2.7 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Oneida is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Halls on Thursday. They lost 8-1 to the Red Devils. While losing is never fun, Oneida can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Halls are ranked 18th).

Oneida's goal came courtesy of Miles Laxton, who's now up to 26 this season.

Meanwhile, Eagleton College & Career Academy kept a clean sheet against Oliver Springs on Friday. They put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 9-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Eagleton College & Career Academy.

Eagleton College & Career Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-10-1. As for Oneida, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6-2.

Oneida got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Eagleton College & Career Academy by a conclusive 5-2 score. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Royals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
