Softball Recap: Barberton Magics vs. Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers
Barberton had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 4-11 to make it four. They fell just short of the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers by a score of 8-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Magics of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Liz Scott made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

As for Cuyahoga Falls, they will take on Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.31 runs per game on average), something the Black Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
